Non-profit initiatives that focused on empowering and giving back to the local community.

2019

SAMKO

A forest fire detection system in collaboration with GEIQ (General Electic) to aid in the fire-fighting efforts for Sierra Gorda de Querétaro during fire season.

Designed through generative CAD and biomimicry. Inspired by a cactus skeleton to achieve a durable yet lightweight drone body structure.

LABOR

An immersive educational experience co-designed with Otomi communities in Mexico.

Through this social startup we sought to enable better job opportunities for crafstmen and spread awareness of the importance of the Otomi culture and heritage across the country.
